Dulles Metrorail Client Awards Silver Star to Matt Ellis

At the Dulles Metrorail Silver Line project, communication and partnership are the keys to successful execution. In recognition of his hard work and dedication, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) presented Senior Superintendent Matt Ellis with the Silver Star partner award.

The Silver Star partner award recognizes individuals on the Capital Rail Constructors team who demonstrate dedication to project goals. Woody Harris of MWAA said this of Matt’s accomplishments: 

“Matt Ellis is receiving this Silver Star award for his unparalleled communication, collaboration, and teamwork in executing the relocation of operationally critical Dulles International Airport IT and other communication infrastructure around the Dulles Metro Station. Throughout the multi-week operation, Matt continually provided superb leadership and coordination for the Dynalectric field work being performed, while being continually engaged with the Rail Office representatives, Airport Operations, Airport Maintenance & Engineering, and all Airport tenants who could have been potentially adversely impacted by this effort."
