Clark Interiors provided general contracting services for the construction of a 91,000 square-foot tenant fit-out for Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company.

Accenture’s workplace, located on three floors of the LEED Gold certified 800 North Glebe office building, also constructed by Clark, was designed to attract and adapt to a new style of workers where those at every level of the organization feel more connected.

The innovative office space offers a visual display real-time room scheduling system, low-speed walk stations, and a host of other cutting-edge technologies to support collaboration and improve productivity. Walls are lined with day lockers — each with its own power station — where employees store personal belongings. Individual offices are managed by a real-time scheduling system, accessible from any computer or a touchscreen outside each room.

Sustainability

The office space was built with green initiatives in mind, including eco-efficient guidelines and principles during the design phase, LEED Gold-certified building features, motion sensors on lighting fixtures, FSC certified wood cabinetry and millwork, recycled carpeting and ceiling tiles, and Green Guard Certified countertops.
