Clark will demolish the existing structures onsite, including two sky bridges over North Lynn Street and North Moore Street, and conduct hazardous materials abatement prior to beginning construction. The project team will then construct a 31-story, 377-unit residential tower clad in unitized curtain wall with unique curved elements. The finished apartments will include Italian finished cabinets, stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, and upgraded fixtures. The top three floors of the building will be constructed with luxury level finishes.

Exterior elements will include 30,000 square feet of ground level retail, a roof top terrace located on the sixth floor with outdoor pool and cabanas, a fitness center, and a 17,000 square-foot public plaza, complete with a full canopy and IPE deck. The public plaza will connect to the Rosslyn Metro Station entrance, recently completed by Clark. As part of the project scope, the team also will relocate multiple utilities, and install new traffic lights and pedestrian crossings.

Clark Foundations will provide the support of excavation for the project.

The Central Place Residential project is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification upon completion.

Construction is underway and substantial completion is scheduled for January 2017.
