The Gaylord National Riverview Ballroom will be a free-standing structure featuring floor to ceiling glass and white aluminum curtain walls on three sides. The ballroom will provide spectacular views of the Potomac River, Capital Wheel, and Woodrow Wilson Bridge. The steel structure design will reflect the nautical history of the Potomac River, with six 70-foot masts connected to sweeping metal panel canopy roofs supported by stainless steel cables.

Terraces surrounding the ballroom will feature architectural concrete retaining walls and will hover above varied landscaping. The ballroom’s interior will boast colorful woven carpet and elegant custom-patterned ceiling panels. The 28,000 square-foot space will utilize five retractable partitions to sub-divide it into eight different configurations, allowing for maximum flexibility.
