Located in Texarkana, Texas, the 680,000 square-foot Defense Distribution Deport Red River replaces several older military warehouse facilities, some dating back to World War II. The new facility stores and provides distribution support for Class IX repair parts and secondary items for tracked and wheeled vehicles, aircraft, and major systems for the Department of Defense.

With shelves up to 25 feet high, the distribution center features 320,000 square feet of storage space and 320,000 square feet of shipping, receiving and packing areas. This state-of-the-art facility features sophisticated inventory management systems, including computer-operated pallets that transport items back and forth on rails between storage and distribution areas.

In addition to warehouse space, the Depot has 60,000 square feet of administrative service areas and a cafeteria, dining room and break rooms, totaling 10,000 square feet.
