Bread for the City Honors Clark as Corporate Partner of the Year
November 18, 2014
BETHESDA, Md. – During the recent 2014 Good Hope Awards, Bread for the City recognized Clark Construction Group with the non-profit's annual Corporate Partner Award. Bread for the City is a Washington, D.C.,-based charity that provides food, clothing, medical, dental, legal, social, and job-readiness services to the local community.
Bread for the City's Chief Executive Officer George Jones extended his gratitude to Clark for its tireless volunteer efforts. He added Clark employees are always willing to help where needed and respond to our urgent requests.
Since Clark's corporate sponsorship began in 2011, employees have donated their time to help further the organization's mission, assisting with fundraising efforts, and donating items such as toys, clothing, and food. Clark employees also have helped hand out food at the organization's free farmers market, renovated space for the center's social services clinic, and worked in the pantries to sort and distribute food and clothing donations.
Clark Project Executive Dave Pastrick, who currently serves on Board of Directors for Bread for the City remarked, "Clark's support of organizations like Bread for the City comes from our company's desire to give back in the communities where we live and work. We are proud to have a partnership with such a great group of energetic and highly motivated individuals."
