Giving back to the community in dollar and deed has long been a part of Clark's corporate culture. The company's giving is focused on six primary areas: community, education, health, military, youth, and arts. This dedication to philanthropy has led to longstanding relationships with several local organizations, including the Aleethia Foundation, Bread for the City, Children's Inn at NIH, DC Central Kitchen, Samaritan Inn, So Others Might Eat, and the Wounded Warrior Project,
Clark's philanthropic efforts continue in 2012. Earlier this year, Clark Construction Group and the Clark Charitable Foundation teamed up to donate $500,000 to Boulder Crest Retreat, a 37-acre Loudoun County facility that will offer a rural recovery setting for wounded warriors and their families. In April, dozens of company employees volunteered as part of Rebuilding Together's National Rebuilding Day on company-sponsored sites in Washington, D.C., as well as in California and Washington state.
Clark Enterprises is consistently ranked as one of the top corporate philanthropists in the Washington, D.C. area.
