Clark Jobsites Kick off Safety Week 2019

Bethesda, Maryland - From coast to coast, Clark job sites are participating in Safety Week 2019, an industry-wide awareness campaign to highlight the importance of construction safety and maintaining an injury-free work environment.

To mark the start of Safety Week 2019, the Clark team participated in a National Safety Stand Down. As part of this event, jobsites across the country took time with the men and women working with us to pause as a team, reflect on the importance of protecting the well-being of ourselves and others, and emphasize the importance of maintaining a strong safety culture.

“Clark is committed to safety above all else,” said Kris Manning, vice president of safety at Clark Construction. “This week, and every week, we are committed to fostering a culture of safety that can be felt by every member of the project team.”

Throughout the week, Clark will host a series of activities and events to raise awareness about the importance of safety and to celebrate its workforce for their efforts and safe work practices.
