Clark's Glove Policy Earns a Spot on BD+C's "Top Innovations" List
January 2, 2014
BETHESDA, Md. – In 2013, Clark implemented a new company-wide policy requiring all individuals on all Clark jobsites, including subcontractors’ employees, to wear gloves rated ANSI Level One or EN Level Two or higher—with even greater protection required for particular tasks. The policy, which is greater than current OSHA requirements, was put in place as a proactive measure to reduce minor hand-related injuries, such as cuts, lacerations, and insect strings. This new Clark policy recently earned recognition from Building Design+Construction magazine as one of the "16 Great Solutions for Architects, Engineers, and Contractors".
