National Business Park 310 'Tops Out'
May 20, 2014
Annapolis Junction, Md. – When Clark held the official 'topping out' for National Business Park (NBP) 310 earlier this month, there was plenty to celebrate — including the company's fifth collaboration with COPT at the office park.
NBP 310 is a six-story 189,000 square-foot, blast-rated, office building. The building's skin is comprised of blast-hardened architectural precast concrete with punch windows, curtain wall sections with ribbon windows, and a thermoplastic polyolefin roof. Sitework includes existing utility tie-in, an emergency generator, concrete sidewalks, and exterior lighting.
Clark's partnership with COPT began in 2004 with the construction of NBP 318. Since then, Clark has gone on to construct three additional office buildings on the campus.
The building is designed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
The topping out event celebrated construction progress to date.
